Feb-ru-ary? I almost certain I’ve gone all 24 years of my life saying Feb-u-rary. Either way, I’m back! And tired of saying I’m back…I should just stay. Anyways, I’ve been using a bunch of these things for over a month but I’m still super excited to share them with you
Adult acne *queue dramatic pause and kill the music* is the bane of my existence. I kid you not! I’m all about any and everything to keep my skin clear so I have been loving the Laura Mercier Blemish Less Foundation Primer. I’m not going to say its “preventing breakouts” but when I do have them this seems to calm everything down. I apply it after my moisturizer and let it sit for a hot minute while I brush my teeth and do my hair. I just think my skin looks less red, the texture is minimized, and I find that I’m less oily throughout the day. Can’t ask for much more.
L’Oreal True Match. Oh my god! Das ma baby! All I want to say is why did I ever stop using this? You cannot beat the price. The coverage is awesome. I have people ask me if I’m even wearing foundation when I have this on, it’s magic in a bottle. I’m just going to drop the mic and say, buy this. Ahora!
I have two mascara favorites. The Too Faced Better Than Sex and the Urban Decay Perversion mascaras. Better Than Sex is a cult favorite and I’m sure you’ve used it before, BUT the two of these together is gold mine I want to introduce you to. Better Than Sex gives INSANE volume. I like to wiggle it at the base of my lashes and then kill the game with the UD Perversion to get length. Lately I’ve just been wearing lots of mascara only on the top lashes. It gives me this elongated, doll like, lashes on 100 look. Super into it.
This one time, at band camp, I bought a $28 Marc Jacobs Enamored Hi-Shine lip-gloss. You know when your paycheck is extra poppin one month and you’re just like treat yo self, that’s what happened when I bought this. I’m sad that I LOVE it so much because poppin paychecks only come every leap year. I bought the shade Taboo. It’s a mauve, taupe, shimmery color – all my favorite things at once. I like it because it has good color pay off, its not sticky, and its versatile. I can wear it at work and for nights out. It’s my everyday.
Lastly, the GlamGlow Gravity Mud Mask has surprisingly been something I like. It is supposed to help with fine lines and wrinkles, uneven skin tone and the loss of firmness and elasticity. I don’t think I’ve been using it enough to see the fine lines and elasticity results but I do think that it brightens my skin up. It’s a peel-off mask so in my head I also feel like its exfoliating at the same time. I just think putting it on and watching it turn this chrome color, and then peeling it off is so satisfying.
