February Beauty Favorites

Feb-ru-ary? I almost certain I’ve gone all 24 years of my life saying Feb-u-rary. Either way, I’m back! And tired of saying I’m back…I should just stay. Anyways, I’ve been using a bunch of these things for over a month but I’m still super excited to share them with you Adult acne *queue dramatic pause and kill the music* is the bane of my existence. I kid you not! I’m all about any and everything to keep my skin clear so I have been loving the Laura Mercier Blemish Less Foundation Primer. I’m not going to say its “preventing breakouts” but when I do have them this seems to calm everything down. I apply it after my moisturizer and let it sit for a hot minute while I brush my teeth and do my hair. I just think my skin looks less red, the texture is minimized, and I find that I’m less oily throughout the day. Can’t ask for much more. L’Oreal True Match. Oh my god! Das ma baby! All I want to say …

September Beauty Favorites | andreasanae

September Beauty Favorites!

I am fully aware that it is October 6th… But I don’t skip out on beauty faves, okay! I have some oldies and newbies, nevertheless ALL goodies to share with you all this month 🙂 And can I just mention how freaking excited I am that its October!!!! Halloween is everything to me. I just want to quit both of my jobs to lay in bed all day and night, watching Hocus Pocus and Beetlejuice. *que Drake’s Fancy lyrics* NARS Orgasm is a cult favorite. I think there was a point in time where I couldn’t watch a Youtube video without someone mentioning this guy. Recently the hype made waves again. I had sooooo many women come into Sephora asking for this because they saw it in the Wall Street Journal. Random!  But with good reason. I love the gold shimmer in this blush, on my skin tone it just looks so luminous. I favor a matte finish to my foundations so I like how this adds some dimension or a skin like look to my …

August Beauty Favorites | andreasanae

August Beauty Favorites

Seeing August go is so bittersweet. The end of August means that Fall is basically right around the corner. Summer don’t go! But this also means that my birthday is coming! And then its Halloween! We can skip anything that isn’t summer, my birthday, or Halloween. Don’t @ me Anywho, here are some of the things I used religiously this month and months past 🙂   I struggled all summer finding a bronzer because I got SO tan! I thought about using a darker powder foundation as a bronzer at one point until I found this little baby! This bronzer palette comes with four different bronzers, two matte and two shimmer. That is so perfect for me because I like to use shimmer bronzer on my cheek bones and a matte one on my forehead. BECAUSE I’M EXTRA! Let me live. I like that there is a variety of shades too. They do not have names unfortunately but I use the bottom right shade EVERYDAY. I love the undertone, it isn’t tooo red and it doesn’t make …

July Beauty Favorites | andreasanae

July Beauty Favorites

I can’t believe I missed my June beauty favorites. Honestly I don’t even think there were any products that I tried that I was living for….so they weren’t worth mentioning. But we back! With July! And some new goodies! I have been using this EVERDAY. Every second of every day I want to be drenched in this ABH Glow Kit. I actually wasn’t a fan of the previous two. I didn’t think that the pigmentation was as good as the highlighters they released before the Glow Kits, and also the colors just looked SO ashy on me. But this one I think it specially made for my brothas and sistas with a little melanin. The texture, to me, is a mix between a cream and a powder. They’re so buttery and beautiful. Summer and Bronzed are my absolute favorites! Sidenote: If you’re not into glowing from space I don’t think that this palette is for you. Urban Decay came out with 100 new Vice lipsticks. That’s INSANE. 100 lipsticks! There are a few different finishes: mega …

May Beauty Favorites

May was beyond hectic for me! I am so happy to see it go. Ya girl had three much going on, which is why there was a lack of posts this month. BUT I did want to at least get a beauty favorites up because I  l o v e  sharing my faves with you guys. I am actually so surprised how much I love this first product. It is my precious Urban Decay One and Done complexion perfector. It’s basically sunscreen with pigment. So it doesn’t have very much coverage – all my full coverage brothas and sistas won’t be into this at all. HOWEVER I have heard that you can use this as a base for your foundation and that would add a little more coverage to something that you already love. I wear this so much because its so easy – I just apply it with a stipling brush, set my oily areas with powder and dass it! It looks so natural. I’ve been asked if I was even wearing makeup the last time …

April Beauty Favorites

April Beauty Favorites

Um….is this even real life? We’re already in MAY! I think I say this every month but I am really excited about these products that I’ve been using! I own a lot of makeup and skin care so I get to try a lot of different things all the time. These beauty favorites are so fun for me to do here on my blog. Sometimes I think I own way too many products because I start using something and forget about other things that I totally loved in the month before. I always find my way back to some and wonder why I stopped using it ;p #makeupjunkie #addict For the sake of this blog post I bought a new Sun ‘n’ Bronze by NYC, I didn’t want to use my other ones because they’re so beat up and raggedy. This is my third time repurchasing it and I already know its going to be my go-to for bronzer this summer. I originally bought this because ya girl was broke and it was only $4.99 and I needed …

March Beauty Favorites

Hi beauties. It’s that time of the month again!!! (Wait, what?) Lately I’ve been into a “no-makeup” look lately so I don’t have a whole lot of products to share this month, but I still wanted to share some goodies with you guys! Y’all…..avocado oil is EVERYTHING to me! I tried using coconut oil so many times, and I wanted to love it so badly but it always always always clogged my pores and broke me out. But it’s winter time and ya girls skin is dry so I had to find some kind of oil to keep my skin soft and hydrated…the answer is avocado oil. I actually use this to take my makeup off at night instead of makeup remover wipes. I can totally see a difference in the way my skin looks in the morning and I will even use this as a moisturizer on the days when I’m feeling extra dry. I love it! And so much cheaper than buying a $20-$30 moisturizer every few months….dass esspensive. A lot of my ladies at …

February Beauty Favorites

Hey beauties! I am EXTRA in love with all the products I’m mentioning in my beauty favorites this month. I dabbled around and bought some things online from a new brand AND I’ve actually been using a lot of the skincare products I’ve gotten from work. Is there world ending? 😉 If you have an Instagram account I’m sure you’ve seen someone rave about Morphe cosmetics once or twice…..and with good reason! The quality of these products is ridiculously good for their pricing! I got the two brushes I’m mentioning for less than $5 EACH! Of course they have some brush lines that have prices comparable to Sephora and Mac too. I bought three brushes off the site, but I only liked these two. I needed another blending brush because I am wayyyyy too lazy to wash the one I have every time I want to do a different colored eye look so I picked up the Morphe M200. SO BOMB! It’s tapered at the tip for precise blending in the crease, and it’s a lot smaller than any …

January Beauty Favorites

Hey beauties! I’m back to share some of my beauty favorites from the month of January. I love that I get to sample so many different new products, thanks to my job at Sephora. I have been trying out this Marc Jacobs re(marc)able  foundation for the past few weeks and I am IN LOVE. I have some hyper pigmentation, mostly on my forehead and cheeks, and this foundation covers it so well. It is insanely full coverage. It claims to be an ultra-lightweight, oil-free foundation that delivers 24 hours of full-coverage wear. I don’t think it lasts 24 hours but it is very light weight. It has a velvety-matte finish. The only thing I don’t like about it is that there isn’t a pump for it. There the undertones of this foundation are horrible. I find that I need to mix it depending on how much sun I’ve had. It is a very very warm/golden foundation, so if you don’t like that you probably won’t be into it. Overall, it is definitely one of the …

Last Beauty Favorites of 2015! | Decemeber

I cannot believe that this will be my last post of 2015! Although this isn’t beauty related I am so happy that I finally started this blog. It was something that I have been wanting to do for so long and I want to thank everyone for reading it and all who have helped me take/edit pictures for it! Cheers to 2016! My first beauty favorite is the Make Up Forever Ultra HD Foundation. Honestly this would be in my beauty favorites every month if you guys would not get sick of me talking about it so much 😉 I hate when I wear something that has a lot of coverage and you can tell because it looks like I have a blanket on my face. So this is one of my favorites because it is a natural finish. I also love it because it keeps my skin from looking dry. I wore this a lot throughout December because of how dry it can get in Colorado. AND it looks great in flash photography so …
