The Leaves Have Changed

Here I’m wearing a lot of my favorite things: cropped flares, loafers, and a big sweater. My favorite part about fall is that I get to wear sweaters but show a little skin at the same time. I think 10/10 people aren’t into this high waisted, mom/cropped jean but I’m living for it. I would wear these everyday if I could! Is anything ever THIS funny? ūüėČ   Loafers Madewell Jeans¬†(Similar) Sweater¬†(Similar) Knotted Belt Celine Sunglasses Advertisements

Puerto Rico – We meet again

Freakin’ *swoon*! I cannot stress to you guys how in love I am with Puerto Rico. I love the people, the food, the architecture, the history, the culture – EVERYTHING. I could definitely see myself living here if I ever got used to that dang humidity. My grandparents booked this trip for me as a graduation/birthday gift. They knew how much I loved going to Puerto Rico with my sister last year that they found a cruise line that stopped at the island. They’re so good to me ‚̧ Wait….Did I mention how much I love Puerto Rico? This¬†was the second stop on the cruise and sadly it was our shortest day ūüė¶ but I did get to see a lot of cool buildings in both San Juan and Old San Juan. We went to¬†Castillo San Crist√≥bal, did a little souvenir shopping, and I got my Puerto Rican food of course! Trying to fit so many things in with 8 people, in 90 degree weather, was a little difficult. I am surprised that we got …

How To Rock Hair Accessories

I think we can all agree that hair accessories are a ¬†t h i n g. Lets be real ladies – on a day to day basis we aren’t putting a tremendous amount¬†of effort into our hair. Hair accessories are the equivalent to adding the right jewelry and bag to your outfit. These pins, bows, and headbands take any regular degular hairstyle to the next level. Your messy bun just went from ‘I woke up 20 minutes after my alarm went off’ to ‘Chic low bun’ in seconds! Here are some different types of accessories that I’ve been seeing ALL over social media¬†and the runways to give you some inspiration.   Gilden Hair Pins 2. Floral 3, Headbands

Island Hoppin’ Part I

I still can’t believe that I went on a 7 day Caribbean cruise! It was everything. I was actually gone for 9 days including the time we spent in Florida before the ship set off. So after all that time I was definitely ready to come home but I do miss sitting on the beach all day. Back to life. Back to reality.¬† I went with mi familia and the ship stopped at three islands – St Maaten, Puerto Rico, and Haiti. If you guys look back at some of my other travel posts I went to Puerto Rico with my sister around this time last year. St Maarten was the first stop on our three island trip. On this day we ported pretty early. We hopped off the ship and immediately took a tour around the island. We were able to see both Dutch and French St Maarten.¬†I think my favorite part about this day was getting to sit in a little French bakery. I don’t know why I wasn’t expecting there to be …

I think it’s Spring

Spring weather is so iffy in the beginning, especially in Colorado. We had a snow storm less than a week ago and then it was back in the 8o’s. Needless to say, I’m m o r e than ready for summer to make its comeback ūüėČ I was diving deep through Instagram one day (no shame in my game) and stumbled upon Social Print Studio and was inspired to create this lookbook of some of my favorite unpredictable spring weather fits. I mean how cute would it be to have your own personal Kim Kardashian selfie book?! I’m so into stripes it should be a crime. Here I’m wearing my faaaavorite sweater/shirt from the Who What Wear x Target collab. I mention how IN LOVE I am with everything from that collection in an earlier post  Denim cutoff are always a spring and summer go to! I’ve had these little babies from the Gap for so many years I LIVE in dresses once the weather gets warmer. A dress is so much easier than pants. Who wants to …

Target and Who What Wear collection

Who What Wear x Target

I live and breathe for Target collaborations! Liz, my coworker, and I are always gushing about all the new goodies we can find at Target, and all the things we buy just because. Even (especially) if we don’t need them ūüėČ Who What Wear launched their collection with Target just a few months ago. I thought it was just going to be the several pieces that they had out¬†but they are actually going to release a new collection every month! (AHH!) So I guess I didn’t have to drive to a Target 30 minutes away from my house, hours before work, just to make sure I got what I wanted… If you’re hype on fashion trends and don’t want to spend high fashion money, you will love this! Everything is under $5o. These pieces I’m wearing are from the first round. Who What Wear initially¬†created wardrobe builders – leather jackets, boyfriend jeans, crew neck sweaters, and so many other fun things. I fell in love with all the prints! I love that Target is always …

Olive you, boyfriend jeans

Thirsty Thursday? Throwback Thursday? So many different types of day you could have! Either way..happy Thursday! In¬†Colorado¬†I think we’re finalllllly transitioning into Spring! March is our snowiest month but¬†its been unexpectedly warm. This day I wanted to be comfy, warm and cool all at the same time Boyfriend jeans are always a¬†yes¬†for me. I’m pretty picky about the wash and the fit of them though so sometimes I find it hard to find a good pair. These fit perfect around the waist and are still baggy around my thighs (always my problem). They also¬†have a mid wash. I find that a lot of boyfriend jeans or even vintage boyfriend jeans are SO light. I do not like lighter jeans AT ALL. I was so excited I found these, at Target, for the low! Obsessing over these Zara booties! I have a million pair in black so I though I would¬†step out of my comfort zone and get the camel ones.¬†I was a little weary about the cowboy details but I think they’re my favorite part …

February Beauty Favorites

Hey beauties!¬†I am EXTRA in love with all the products I’m mentioning in my beauty favorites this month. I dabbled around and bought some things online from a new brand AND I’ve actually been using a lot of the skincare products I’ve gotten from work. Is there world ending? ūüėČ If you have an¬†Instagram¬†account I’m sure you’ve seen someone rave¬†about Morphe cosmetics once or twice…..and with good reason! The quality of these products is ridiculously good for their pricing! I got the two brushes I’m mentioning for less than $5 EACH! Of course they have some brush lines that have prices comparable to Sephora and Mac too. I bought three brushes off the site, but I only liked these two. I needed another blending brush because I am wayyyyy too lazy to wash the one I have every time I want to do a different colored eye look so I picked up the Morphe M200. SO BOMB! It’s tapered at the tip for precise blending in the crease, and it’s a lot smaller than any …

Mixing Moods.

My new favorite shirt! It’s always a good day when you go¬†into Forever 21 and find something without having to dig through piles and piles of sale clothing. Just to find out that what you found isn’t in your size! BUT I love how girly this top¬†is – it’s pink, there’s ruffles, and pleating down the front! Paired with these ballet flats it makes me feel like a ballerina. To mix thangs up a bit I wore black skinny jeans and my leather jacket (also one of my new favorites ūüôā I wore this cuuuuuuute little bralette from Urban Outfitters underneath. I didn’t button the blouse all the way so it would peek through just a little ūüėȬ†The silver hardware on the jacket is a good contrast between the frilly blouse and gold accessories. Last Beauty Favorites of 2015! | Decemeber

I cannot believe that this will be my last post of 2015! Although this isn’t beauty related I am so happy that I finally started this blog. It was something that I have been wanting to do for so long and I want to thank everyone for reading it and all who have helped me take/edit pictures for it! Cheers to 2016! My first beauty favorite is the Make Up Forever Ultra HD Foundation. Honestly this would be in my beauty favorites every month if you guys would not get sick of me talking about it so much ūüėČ I hate when I wear something that has a lot of coverage and you can tell because it looks like I have a blanket on my face. So this is one of my favorites because it is a natural finish. I also love it because it keeps my skin from looking dry. I wore this a lot throughout December because of how dry it can get in Colorado. AND it looks great in flash photography so …
